Give Our Readers An Overview of the Golf Course/Property
The Harvester site has the elements of a dramatic championship course: visually diverse beauty, varied terrain and natural water features- all in a charming setting where a course was sculpted into the land, not built upon it.
If Someone Was Looking To Golf In The Area, Why Should They Play Your Course?
If you love the game of golf, The Harvester satisfies. Every time you play, the course reveals itself in new and unexpected ways. From wide fairways to large, fast greens and generous tee times to distraction free surroundings, you'll finish your round knowing that you've experienced the game in its purest form.
What Tips or Local Knowledge Would You Provide To Help Them Score Better At Your Course?
Keep the ball below the hole to leave yourself an uphill putt and take enough club to reach some of our elevated greens.

What Is The Signature, Most Talked About, or Most Photographed Hole?
I get a lot of diverse answers when I ask people what their favorite hole was from their round. I would say the majority of the golfer's choose either hole #15 or #18.
Hole #15 (Big Hog) Big Hog is the longest of all holes at The Harvester at 650 yards. It is also uphill all the way from the tee to the green.
Hole #18 (Promised Land); Promised land is a hard dogleg right par five where a birdie and a possible eagle opportunity is a reality. However with water along the entire right side, it is very easy to finish with a double bogey. It is a perfect finish to a great round of golf.
What Is Your Favorite Hole? Any Tips to Play It?
My favorite hole is #18. It is one of the more intimidating holes on the golf course. The closer you can keep your tee shot to the right side of the fairway the shorter the second shot will be and makes going for the green in 2 more realistic.
Who Holds Course Record and What Was Their Score?
Mike Mccoy (Des Moines, IA). (66) 2008 U.S. Amateur Qualifier.

All of his life, Brian has been around the game of golf. As a youngster, Brian competed at all levels in junior and high school golf. Brian had a zero chance for a college golf scholarship, so he worked on the grounds crew at West Bend Country Club to pay for his University of Wisconsin education. In his adult years, his passion for the game collided with his entrepreneurial spirit and in 2004 launched GolfWisconsin.com. In 2007, the idea for a network of local golf directory sites formed and GolfTrips.com was born. Today, the network consists of a site in all 50 states supported by national sites like GolfTrips.com, GolfGuide.com and GolfPackages.com. It is an understatement to say, Brian is passionate about promoting golf and golf travel on a local, regional, national and international level.
On the golf course, Brian is known as a fierce weekend warrior that fluctuates between a 5-9 handicap. With a soft fade, known as "The Weis Slice", and booming 300+ drives, he can blast it out of bounds with the best of them.
